Our Commitment

Guntology stands behind the quality, workmanship, and performance of every KRYON product it manufactures.

Subject to the terms below, Guntology warrants eligible KRYON products to the original retail purchaser for as long as that purchaser owns the product.

Who Is Covered

This warranty applies to the original retail purchaser. The original retail purchaser is the person or organization that first purchases the product new for its own use and not for resale.

For products purchased directly by a law enforcement agency, government agency, military organization, department, or business for its own use, the purchasing organization will be considered the original purchaser.

This warranty is not transferable. Coverage ends if the product is sold, gifted, or otherwise transferred to another owner.

Warranty registration is not required. Guntology may request reasonable proof of purchase or other documentation showing that the claimant is the original retail purchaser.

Products Covered

This warranty applies to new KRYON products and components manufactured by Guntology, including:

1. KRYON shields and tubes
2. KRYON mounts and adapters
3. KRYON caliber inserts and mounting discs
4. KRYON extensions
5. Factory replacement components
6. Other KRYON components manufactured and sold by Guntology

Products manufactured by another company are not covered by this warranty and may be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

1. Defects in materials or workmanship
2. Functional failure occurring during normal, intended use
3. Failure of a Guntology manufactured component that prevents the KRYON system from mounting, securing, or functioning as intended

Normal, intended use means the product is installed and used for its intended purpose in accordance with applicable Guntology fitment, installation, inspection, maintenance, and safety instructions.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

1. Intentional damage or deliberate destruction
2. Misuse, abuse, neglect, or use for a purpose other than the product’s intended function
3. Improper installation or failure to follow applicable Guntology instructions
4. Use with an incompatible firearm, suppressor, muzzle device, mount, adapter, or other component
5. Alteration, machining, modification, or unauthorized repair, but only when that work caused or contributed to the claimed damage or failure
6. The malfunction, failure, improper installation, or unsafe operation of a firearm, suppressor, muzzle device, ammunition, mount, or other product not manufactured by Guntology
7. Loss, theft, or missing components
8. Cosmetic wear that does not affect the safe operation or functional performance of the product, including scratches, minor dents, finish wear, coating wear, or discoloration

Functional wear or failure resulting from normal, intended use will not be excluded solely because the product has been used over an extended period.

What Guntology Will Do

Guntology will inspect and evaluate the product to determine whether the claim is covered by this warranty.

For an approved warranty claim, Guntology will, at its option and without charge for covered parts or labor:

1. Repair the product
2. Replace the affected product or component
3. Replace the product with a reasonably comparable current model if the original product is no longer available

If neither repair nor replacement is reasonably available, Guntology will refund the original purchase price of the covered product.

A repaired or replacement product remains covered for as long as the original purchaser continues to own it. Receiving a repaired or replacement product does not transfer the warranty or create a new owner eligibility period.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To begin a warranty claim, contact Guntology at support@guntology.com and include:

1. Your full name and contact information
2. Your order number, receipt, or other reasonable proof of purchase
3. The KRYON product and configuration involved
4. A clear description of the issue
5. Photographs or video showing the issue, when available
6. Information about the suppressor, firearm, mount, or host system on which the KRYON was installed, when relevant to the claim

Guntology may be able to resolve the issue without requiring the product to be returned.

If a return is necessary, Guntology will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization number and return instructions. Products sent to Guntology without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.

Do not send Guntology any firearm, suppressor, ammunition, muzzle device, or other regulated item unless Guntology has provided specific written instructions and the shipment is lawful. In most cases, only the affected KRYON product or component should be returned.

Shipping

Unless Guntology provides a prepaid shipping label, the purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Guntology.

For an approved warranty claim within the United States, Guntology will pay standard shipping to return the repaired or replacement product to the purchaser.

Expedited shipping, international shipping, duties, taxes, and other special shipping costs are not included unless Guntology agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.

Claims That Are Not Covered

If Guntology determines that the issue is not covered by this warranty, Guntology may offer a repair, replacement component, or replacement product at a reasonable cost.

Guntology will explain the available options and obtain the owner’s approval before completing any service for which a charge will apply.

Limitation of Remedies and Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guntology’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund remedies stated in this warranty.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guntology will not be responsible under this warranty for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, lost time, loss of revenue, or damage to other equipment.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Other Terms

This warranty is separate from Guntology’s return policy and any Fitment Guarantee offered by Guntology. A product may qualify for one policy without qualifying for another.

No dealer, distributor, employee, representative, or other person is authorized to modify or expand this warranty unless the modification is provided in writing by Guntology.

If any provision of this warranty is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Your Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
