Fit guarantee
Our Promise
Every KRYON system is configured around the customer’s suppressor, mounting system, host firearm, and other fit information provided at the time of purchase.
If a KRYON product covered by this guarantee does not properly fit the setup accurately identified when the order was placed, Guntology will make it right.
At the customer’s choice, Guntology will provide the correct configuration or accept the affected KRYON system for a full refund, subject to the terms below.
Who Is Covered
This guarantee applies to the original retail purchaser.
The original retail purchaser is the person or organization that first purchases the product new from Guntology or an authorized Guntology dealer for its own use and not for resale.
For products purchased directly by a law enforcement agency, government agency, military organization, department, or business for its own use, the purchasing organization will be considered the original purchaser.
This guarantee is not transferable.
Registration is not required. Guntology may request reasonable proof of purchase or other documentation showing that the claimant is the original retail purchaser.
Products Covered
This guarantee applies to:
- Complete KRYON systems configured through the Guntology website
- Complete KRYON systems configured or recommended by a Guntology representative
- KRYON mounting components selected for an identified suppressor, mount, firearm, or host configuration
- KRYON shields, extensions, caliber inserts, mounting discs, adapters, and other components when Guntology confirmed their compatibility with the customer’s identified setup before purchase
Standalone components selected without providing Guntology with the information necessary to confirm compatibility may not qualify for this guarantee.
What Proper Fit Means
A KRYON product properly fits when the Guntology components supplied can be installed on the identified setup in accordance with applicable Guntology instructions and function as the intended KRYON configuration.
The Fit Guarantee covers compatibility between the purchased KRYON components and the suppressor, mounting system, host firearm, or other equipment accurately identified by the purchaser at the time of purchase.
The Fit Guarantee does not guarantee compatibility with a different or future setup.
Customer Responsibilities
To qualify for the Fit Guarantee, the purchaser must provide complete and accurate information requested by Guntology, which may include:
- Suppressor manufacturer
- Exact suppressor model
- Suppressor mounting system
- Host firearm caliber
- Barrel thread pitch
- Muzzle device or adapter information
- Relevant suppressor, firearm, handguard, or accessory modifications
- Any other measurements, photographs, or configuration information reasonably requested by Guntology
The customer is responsible for confirming model names, markings, thread specifications, and other information before submitting the order.
If the customer is unsure about any part of the setup, the customer should contact Guntology before ordering so that Guntology can help confirm the correct configuration.
What Is Not Covered
The Fit Guarantee does not cover a fit issue caused by:
- Incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate information provided by the purchaser
- A change to the suppressor, firearm, mount, muzzle device, caliber, thread pitch, or host configuration after the order was placed
- An aftermarket modification, custom component, nonstandard dimension, or alteration that was not disclosed to Guntology before purchase
- Interference from a handguard, optic, light, laser, sling mount, rail accessory, case, vehicle rack, or other equipment that was not disclosed when fitment was confirmed
- Improper installation or failure to follow applicable Guntology installation instructions
- Forcing, cross threading, machining, grinding, bending, or otherwise modifying a KRYON component
- Damage caused by the firearm, suppressor, muzzle device, mount, ammunition, or another product not manufactured by Guntology
- A customer preference involving appearance, finish, color, or configuration when the product otherwise properly fits the identified setup
- An attempt to use one KRYON configuration with another suppressor, firearm, mount, or host system for which Guntology did not confirm compatibility
A functional failure that occurs after a product has been properly fitted is addressed under the Guntology Limited Lifetime Warranty rather than this Fit Guarantee.
What Guntology Will Do
After confirming an eligible fit issue, Guntology will provide the purchaser with the following options:
- Correct Configuration
Guntology will provide the KRYON components reasonably necessary to correct the configuration at no additional product charge.
Guntology may require the incorrect components to be returned before or after replacement components are sent.
- Full Refund
The purchaser may return the affected KRYON system for a full refund of the amount paid for the returned Guntology products, including applicable sales tax.
When standard outbound shipping was charged specifically for the affected KRYON system, that standard shipping charge will also be refunded.
Expedited shipping charges, international shipping charges, duties, brokerage fees, and other special shipping expenses are not refundable unless Guntology agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.
Products purchased through an authorized Guntology dealer may require the refund to be processed through the original dealer. Guntology will work with the purchaser and dealer to coordinate the resolution.
Shipping
For an approved Fit Guarantee claim within the United States, Guntology will provide or reimburse reasonable standard shipping required to return the incorrect components and deliver the corrected configuration.
Expedited shipping, international shipping, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other special shipping costs are not included unless Guntology agrees otherwise in writing.
How to Submit a Fit Guarantee Claim
To begin a claim, contact Guntology at support@guntology.com and provide:
- Your full name and contact information
- Your order number, receipt, or other reasonable proof of purchase
- The exact suppressor manufacturer and model
- The mounting system and host firearm information
- A description of the fit issue
- Clear photographs or video showing the product and relevant setup
- Any measurements or additional information reasonably requested by Guntology
Do not force the product into place, modify any KRYON component, or fire the firearm if the installation appears incorrect, unstable, obstructed, or unsafe.
Guntology may be able to resolve the issue without requiring the product to be returned.
If a return is necessary, Guntology will provide return instructions. Products sent to Guntology without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.
Do not send Guntology a firearm, suppressor, ammunition, muzzle device, or other regulated item unless Guntology has provided specific written instructions and the shipment is lawful. In most cases, only the affected KRYON components should be returned.
Duration
There is no separate registration requirement or fixed claim deadline under the Fit Guarantee.
The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser, the KRYON products originally purchased, and the exact suppressor, mount, firearm, or host configuration identified at the time of purchase.
Coverage does not extend to changes made to the customer’s setup after purchase.
Other Expenses
The Fit Guarantee applies only to eligible Guntology products and the shipping obligations expressly stated in this policy.
It does not cover firearms, suppressors, muzzle devices, ammunition, third party products, installation charges, gunsmith fees, range fees, loss of use, lost time, or other incidental or consequential expenses, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Relationship to Other Guntology Policies
The Guntology Fit Guarantee is separate from the Guntology Limited Lifetime Warranty and Guntology return policy.
The Fit Guarantee addresses whether the supplied KRYON configuration properly fits the setup accurately identified at the time of purchase.
The Limited Lifetime Warranty addresses defects and functional failures involving covered Guntology products during normal, intended use.
The return policy addresses returns that do not involve an eligible fit issue or warranty claim.
Your Legal Rights
This guarantee provides specific contractual rights. The purchaser may also have other rights that vary by state.
Nothing in this guarantee excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
