Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if my suppressor alignment is off after installation?
If your suppressor is misaligned, do not fire the weapon. First, safely unload the firearm and clear the chamber. Then, remove the adaptor and carefully review your installation steps. Reinstall with attention to alignment, and use an alignment rod to verify concentricity. If issues persist, contact Guntology LLC, for further support.
Can I use the same tools for both KRYON-C and KRYON-F installations?
Yes, both installations require the same core tools. We recommend having the following on hand: acetone, brush, cotton swabs, shims, blue painter’s tape, Rocksett, a 3/4” wrench, vise tool, alignment rod, breaker bar, and a torque wrench. Proper prep and installation ensure long-term reliability.
How long should I wait before firing after installation?
After applying Rocksett and installing your KRYON adaptor, allow 24 hours of curing time before firing. This ensures a secure, heat-resistant bond between the adaptor and your barrel threads, maintaining performance and safety.
