KRYON MIRAGE is designed for use with magnified optics, where heat distortion directly impacts your sight picture.

As a suppressor heats up, rising heat creates visible distortion through magnified optics. This “mirage” causes targets to shimmer, blur, and shift, making it difficult to maintain a stable sight picture.

For shooters running higher magnification, this becomes a real limitation. As heat builds, visibility degrades, tracking becomes less consistent, and maintaining precision becomes more difficult.

Traditional wraps often make this worse. By trapping heat around the suppressor, they push more heat back into the system—raising temperatures in the barrel and chamber. As the chamber heats up, ammunition temperature increases, leading to higher standard deviation and reduced consistency over distance. As the system continues to heat, accuracy can begin to open up.

KRYON MIRAGE is built to address this directly. The top half of the tube is solid, blocking rising heat from entering your line of sight, while the lower structure remains open to allow heat to vent. This controls how heat moves—reducing distortion where it matters while still allowing the system to shed heat.

The result is a more stable sight picture and more consistent performance through magnified optics as temperatures increase.

KRYON MIRAGE also reduces suppressor bloom under night vision. By controlling how heat escapes and limiting direct line-of-sight exposure to the hottest areas of the suppressor, it helps reduce the glow and visual washout that can occur under NV devices.

KRYON MIRAGE tubes are available in 5″, 6″, 7″, and 8″ lengths, allowing you to select the appropriate size for your suppressor and intended setup.
KRYON MIRAGE is the core of the KRYON system and is fully compatible with all KRYON mounting adapters. This allows you to configure your setup without replacing the tube, adapting how it’s mounted or extending length as needed.

KRYON MIRAGE is designed to run slightly longer than the suppressor. Extending the tube past the suppressor muzzle creates forward standoff, helping control how heat presents within your field of view.

This becomes especially important in high port or compressed shooting positions, where the front of the suppressor is more likely to sit within your line of sight. By extending past the muzzle, MIRAGE helps limit both visible mirage and suppressor bloom at the source.

KRYON extensions are available in 0.5″ and 1.5″ lengths, allowing you to adjust overall length as needed. They provide a simple way to increase standoff and refine the system without replacing the core tube.

Like all KRYON systems, MIRAGE is CNC machined for durability and structural integrity under heat. It does not rely on materials that degrade, shift, or break down over time, ensuring consistent performance through repeated use.
