KRYON-T
A new class of suppressor thermal
signature management
Engineered thermal management
without compromise
KRYON Thermal is engineered to reduce suppressor thermal signature when observed with thermal
optics, significantly mitigating front-end thermal bloom during firing. Testing has shown up to a
70% reduction in suppressor front-end thermal bloom, achieved without restricting airflow or
compromising suppressor performance.
Development of KRYON Thermal was informed by real-world feedback
from government users operating in thermally observed environments,
where suppressor visibility presented a growing operational concern.
KRYON Thermal is fully cross-compatible across the complete KRYON
ecosystem of interchangeable tubes and mounting adaptors.
Designed as a platform,
not an accessory
KRYON-T is built around the NEXUS interface—a low-
profile, ultra-light barrel insert that creates a
permanent attachment point at the muzzle. Once
installed, NEXUS stays on the rifle without affecting
balance, accuracy, or maintenance, remaining
completely out of the way when no KRYON
component is attached.
KRYON-T installs and removes cleanly as needed, locking
into the same position every time for consistent alignment
and repeatable performance.
This platform approach allows shooters to run thermal
signature management only when it’s needed—without
committing the rifle to a permanent sleeve or compromise.
Because the interface lives on the rifle, KRYON can be added
or removed without changing how the rifle is configured.
Thermal Masking From Every Angle
Thermal detection is not limited to a
single viewing plane. KRYON was
designed with full-aspect consideration,
reducing thermal exposure from the
sides, above, and forward of the muzzle.
By controlling how heat is radiated and
observed—rather than simply containing
it—KRYON minimizes the suppressor’s
thermal visibility even when viewed head-
on through thermal devices.
Purpose-Built Thermal
Signature Management
Designed from the ground up as a rigid
suppressor thermal signature-management
system — not a workaround.
Airflow-Driven Cooling
Ventilated structure maintains a
controlled air gap around the
suppressor, allowing heat to dissipate
naturally rather than being trapped
against the barrel or silencer.
Lightweight Design
KRYON-T tube range from only 3.7 oz to 5.2 oz —light enough to remain installed without affecting rifle balance.
Secure, Repeatable Mount
Interfaces with the NEXUS system to
lock in place and return to the same
position every time it’s installed.
6061-T6 Aluminum Construction
Machined 6061-T6 aluminum to
provides structural stability. Rigid
design will not melt, burn, or degrade
under sustained fire.
A better alternative to
suppressor wraps
Suppressor wraps rely on insulation to mask heat. While
this may delay thermal visibility initially, once heat-
soaked they retain energy and glow intensely under
thermal observation—often increasing overall signature
rather than reducing it. As firing continues, wraps trap
heat at the suppressor and front cap, amplifying the very
thermal bloom they are meant to conceal.
KRYON VS Wrap Thermal Demonstration
KRYON Thermal takes a different approach. Rather than
insulating the suppressor, it is engineered to reduce thermal
signature growth and mitigate front-end thermal bloom
without restricting airflow or altering suppressor
performance. By avoiding heat entrapment, KRYON Thermal
maintains a more controlled and predictable thermal profile
as temperatures rise.
The result is a durable, repeatable solution for thermally
observed environments—because reducing thermal visibility
requires engineered control, not insulation.
